BRIGHT (Or Dark) and early, the kids were up, ready to see what Christmas surprises awaited them. We made them wait at the top of the stairs, and then took the annual picture. The I did the thing where I go down first and oooohhh and aaaaahh over the gifts I see. When the torture is over, I let them come down.
Santa had indeed come and their stockings were overflowing with little treats and the magic of Christmas.
Santa in his infinate love and wisdom had not forgotten Luna on her very first Christmas. She got a stalking full of doggie treats, toys, and her very own new bed! She also got a big bone, and spent much of the morning delightedly chewing it up.
It took the kids no time at all to get down and dirty with the snacks.
After packing up the stalking treats, the first gifts of Christmas, books.
