The night before St. Pattie’s day we read our special book:
The the kids and Karl, like they do every year, set a trap for the little guy.
Under the sink. With lots of things to lure him.
The next morning…look what they found:
Yes he peed in the kids disgusting toilet.
And he fell into our trap!
ONLY TO BREAK OUT!!
He left a note, and some treats too!
He also peed in the down stairs toilet…but that one had bleach in the tank so it turned blue…
The kids were thrilled, and it started out our day with a delicious golden surprise.
Telling us about it.
They were excited to show dad and tell him all about it. Karl was too busy studying the inside of his eyelids.
Soon enough we were all up, dressed in green and having a fun festive breakfast.
We even got Luna dressed up!
Photo shoot at the door!
I had found these fun stickers somewhere the week before, and we were all feeling happy about the day.
Luna!
We were all up and fed and ready so early, the kids had time for an early morning swing with dad.
LUNA-looking lovely in green.
We walked Mirah to school.
After school Grandma arrived!
The girls did some decorating on the driveway.
Grandma left as we all sat down for dinner.
The kids.
Dinner was a colorful smorgasbord of the usual suspects. Corned beef, green bread, and potato’s. PLUS Krysta made rainbow fruit skewers. YUM!
We had bottled apple and root bear for drinks.
The puppies, though happy to be together, were bummed not to be inside eating with the rest of us.
Dessert? Shamrock shakes!
Goodnight in green.
