So we got to take little miss Karen for a date night out!
We went out and saw the new KungFu Panda 2!
And we LOVED IT!!!
To continue the Chinese theme, we went to this local Chinese place for dinner.
Karl and Karen considered the menu.
Then she dicided to hide under the table, which was obviously a problem…she just wanted to hang out down there.
She was much more attentive when the food arrived. She ate food from the Popo platter.
PARTY TIME!
We saw our old Bishop and his wife out on a date, and had a great conversation with them.
The the check came, with fortune cookies.
Karen and Karl read her fortune:
Good friends will come through for you soon.
We went to DQ and got a couple of Dilly Bars and went to Joaquin Park.
Just a couple of kittens, out on the town.
Something funny about little children: they take forever to eat.
Then she scooted off, on the rim of the play area.
It was really nice to have her. We got home and got her room all set up. She was staying with us for the night. We didn’t have a tooth brush for her, so we used a q-tip and tooth paste. We got into our PJ’s, read scriptures, said a family prayer, read one book, and sang 5 + primary songs.
She sat up late singing to herself, and “reading” her books again. I couldn’t go to sleep until I was sure she was sleeping. She did great, she slept through the night.
WE LOVE YOU KAREN!
