Yes, Mirah is getting so old and big and growing up. This post is designed to document all of her current progress and abilities for future reference as well as to show off to her grandparents and other family what a sweet smart girl she is!
Her hair. Still like little feathers, but getting longer and a bit thicker every day. We can even get it into a a little pony tail. See:
We do little pig tails too.
She is getting really social with other little kids. She loves to play with her cousins.
Not a ton of co play, but she likes to be with them.
Cheeks.
We often have prospective tenants in the apartment. This family came by with their little girl and Mirah just chased her around. It was so cute.
Speaking of so cute:
Church is getting challenging. Our ward meets at 1, meaning the last two hours of church we are fighting with a super cranky tired baby. Luckily, she is super cute while doing it.
She is sitting, crawling, pulling herself up onto furniture and standing. She crawl has recently evolved into Mogly crawling.
She has also been doing this thing recently where she throughs her pacifier behind her bed when she is done sleeping. The other night we couldn’t find a pacifier. We looked under the bed, in our bags, and in her toys. Then Karl had a stroke of genius. A gang of pacifiers stuck between the wall and the crib.
So did I mention church at 1:00 SUCKS.
This video is why I hate going to church this…year.
Mirah is happy sometimes though.
Like this day was the Sunday after we all had the Flu. This is when Kelsey and Chelsea got the flu from Mirah. Sorry, but it was pretty cute.
Yeah we all got the flu. It is part of all the radio silence.
Mirah loves to stand. Especially with this toy from Grandma Hite.
Finally, she has started communicating with us. She says hi, and da da and signs “more” and “all done.” She has also started to playing patty cake. It is amazingly cute. She just yesterday figured out how to clap all on her own while skying with Grammy Pipi.
Nine months old. I just can’t believe my baby is 9 months old.
