The kids were home from school, and no school tomorrow means the beginning of fall break! We started the school break off strong, with an afternoon of videogames, tv and an art project. We painted some little pumpkins. It was fun to do something like this together, it’s been a while.
From left to right: Mine, A vampire. Mirah’s a Unicorn with a golden horn. Lucas’s, “Jack the pumpkin king that became a haunted mansion.”
When we were done, we joined Karl in his office for a zoom Magician.
The kids went outside and played on the trampoline as Dad started to make home made pizza. It was then that Lucas came in SCREAMING. He had been stung by a bee. The stinger was still in his arm when he ran in with hot angry pain tears in his eyes. I held him on the floor as he screamed and Karl came over with a sharp knife to attempt to flick it off him with out touching it or pushing it further into his skin. Lucas started screaming and freaking out more, he believed that Karl was going to cut into him to get it out. One high pressured explanation later, and a quick flick and the stinger was out. We cleaned and bandaged the now swollen sting sight. We gave his allergy medicine and pain medicine. Lucas and I went up to my room to calm down and snuggle. That was a bit upsetting.
All was forgotten once Karl was ready to top and bake our pizzas!
Pizza time! We had a fun evening eating and topping pizzas.
After dinner I checked the mail and look what FINALLY arrived!!!!
TIME TO VOTE!!
