We went outside to get a better look at it. 

It bled really badly for a 10 minutes or so. It was pretty upsetting. You can see the dried blood on the back of his head. We took him to the urgent care. They said, it could go either way, but that he would be okay if we didn’t get stitches. It would mean 400 bucks in medical fees, not to mention a painful and upsetting procedure, we decided to bring him home and watch it heal. 

Writing this on Sunday, it looks ok. The bleeding had stopped unless we are putting ointment. He head is permanently greasy. Looking good, healing.
