We were full from breakfast. And we were really excited to see Tia, Zeke, Kenzie, and of course Tegan.
Yuma continued to Surprise me. Although the Del Sol Market’s sign was run down, there was a LOVELY mural that look like it would fit in somewhere more urban, and artsy. Still, it was beautiful.
Again this lovely park and nature reserve and dessert walk was surprising and lovely. Everything was so sun baked. You know that it is unbelievably hot in the summer. But today was just LOVELY. Overcast and cool.
We got to the park first and the kids who had been in the car and crowded restaurants a lot were delighted to be free to run and not be micro managed.
Lucas was so happy to jump in this cool air plane.
Fun cool slide. Again, good job Yuma.
Lucas grew tired of waiting for Mirah to come down the slide, so he found some other friends to play with. |
The swing was not too full at first, and Lucas was so happy to make a couple of new friends.
By the time Tia and her kids got there, the swing was getting pretty crowded.
Perfect timing!
Lucas was SO stoked to see Tegan. AND Tia. Of course.
The big year olds, so happy to play!
Just maxin’ relaxin’ on the swing.
Karl doing the same.
Then snuggles together:
There were loads of fun things to do. Like this crazy thing:
Cuties.
Kenzie.
After the kids got all of their wiggles out, it was time for a gift exchange!
(The cardboard thing on Zeke’s back, is an ax he made for himself)
Ready set…
GO!
We finished with that area and were going to go look at the pond. Look what the kids got from their uncle Sean.
Lucas was getting sleepy, and so was Karl.
Before we left Tia offered to take the kids so we could go out with Karl’s parents. So we did.
