Eddie Izzard

Nearly 6 months ago, my sister Krystin alerted me that Eddie Izzard was coming to Salt Lake! I have been a fan of theirs for YEARS. I was SO excited, I convinced Karl to get tickets for my birthday.

We got there early enough, that we had time to grab a bite to eat. We found this incredible taco shop right across the road.

Miaze Homestyle Tacos.

The hometown small taco shop feel. Complete with an INCREDIBLE salsa bar. That while stuff is a galic cilantro sauce…O M G SOOOO good.

My meal on the right: Chips and guac with a carne asada quesadilla. Karl got three tacos: Mahi mahi, shrimp, and carne asada.

Dang. Spoiler alert, this was the best part of the night.

We walked back to the theater and got seated.

Hooray!

Eddie got on stage, and it was funny. Not great, but fine. They bounced from self promotion to self aggrandizing, to anti God, to some funny stuff.

There were a group of women behind us who were supporting one of them who had been cheated on. They were loud laughers.

Then there was an intermission-said to be 15 minutes, but that went 30 minutes!

I had hoped to be home by 10, but we were only getting out of the theater at 10:30!

The traffic was horrendous, and our poor sitter was a little stressed. But we made it.

But that taco though.
