Branny had been in town since Wednesday for a work conference on Grief u pat Snow Bird, but between our plans and his plans, and life-It wasn’t until Saturday that we finally got together. He was at his conference until mid day, so we all sped over to Cam’s house the minute he said he was out. Even little Sloan came running!
Kelly and the boys had been down the block, and our arrived caught them by surprise.
Super mom and her beautiful baby Ash!
We went inside for maybe 15 minutes. Branny showed us some of the things he scored from the conference. Krystin was really into it.
Ashy needed a nap and we were being too loud so out to the back we all went.
Sadly as soon as we arrived we left.
Branny, KP, Me, Karl, Mirah, And Lucas went to lunch at the Hong Kong Tea house, AKA Dim Sum!!
My favorite bite of the day, Salt and Pepper Calamari. Worst, what ever this thing on the right it.
We attempted to take a picture.
Lucas just wouldn’t cooperate. Then Branny was standing on KP’s purse…
Uncle Branny always knows how to make a little boys laugh.
After lunch we met up at Liberty Park.
We met up outside of the aviary, we snuck in to use the bathroom.
Then we bought tickets…
For the rides!
We all took at ride on the merry go round.
Lucas desperately wanted to go on the swings but he wasn’t quiet tall enough. The first and last time I will probably ever say that to this kid.
These cuties.
He and Mirah were tall enough to go on the Ferris wheel. Branny was worried about his tummy, so I stayed back with him, and the kids went on with KP and Karl.
Krystin was worried.
The operator had to keep the wheel balanced, so he loaded KP and Mirah then shot them up to the top to wait while Karl and Lucas got loaded up. This made KP very nervous.
My boys.
Where Krystin is great at taking videos and pictures. Karl was not.
After the ferris wheel the kids split to do other little rides.
Mirah went on the swings, the same swings that Maryn went on a few years ago when Cruz came to visit:
It was as fast as I remember.
We fed the ducks for a while.
KP played Wizard’s Unite. Then it was time to go. She had a concert.
Branny came back to the house with us, to do the pass over to the sitter. These kids love him so much.
We had a little bit of time to kill before Cameron would be ready to meet us for dinner, so we went and flew Karl’s new kite at the park.
We picked Cameron up, and went downtown. We rented electric scooters, and had fun riding around down town.
I was STOKED to go back to Maise. I mean it was my birthday after all.
We had a really great meal together. Cam and Branny talked about their time in Guatemala. All about the food there, and how this was 100 times better.
Brother who love each other.
I told Mirah that it was the best birthday present I could have, to have my favorite sibling in town for my birthday. She looked surprised, and I said, “you heard me!” 🙂
I feel pretty confident that none of my siblings will ever read this. What I will seriously say is that after our trip to Oregon, and then this weekend, he was at the top of my list.
