Well, it that time. Mirah and all of her friends her age are turning 8! And many are choosing to be baptized!! Today our love and friend Aftyn made the choice to get baptized and we were thrilled to be there to support her in her choice.

Here are the girls before the ordinance. I foolishly decided to play some prelude music when we came in, and then when the pianist didn’t show, it was looking like they might make me play. BUT they didn’t FEW.

The service was lovely. Her dad, Sam baptized and confirmed her. Her mom played a beautiful song on the guitar and sang too, “I’m Trying to be like Jesus.” Her Grandma gave the talk on The Holy Ghost, and someone I don’t know gave the talk on Baptism.

It was a really nice, intimate, personal, service.

But when you are 4 or 5, it is way too much sitting. So Dane and Lucas only made it through the first 45 minutes.

Cinnamon rolls, raspberry rolls, cider and hot coco were served afterwards in the gym.
