Our 6th Anniversary

6 YEARS!
Married for 6 years, together almost 7. When rounding up, you can say, we have been together the better part of a decade. This is the longest thing I have ever done. Longer the my mission. Longer than college. Longer than high school. Longer than middle school. Longer than elementary school.

I guess not longer than I have lived at home. Still another 11 years for that.

Last year was our 5th, and we went to New York. This year we took it a little slower, and kept it simple. Karl did such a great job this year.

Last year we had Dim Sum for the first time in China town. So, Karl took us all to Hong Kong Tea House in Salt Lake to get Dim Sum!
It was radical!
I mean look at Mirah! She was so excited!

Karl was super excited for those buns!

We got this delicious garlic calamari, tons of buns and the stuff below.
The one on the left was the garlic scallop, it was amazing, my favorite of the day.

We ate, and ate and ATE!

Their pot stickers were so hearty and delicious. Everything was so hot and fresh! SO good!

We ordered dessert, and played with Mirah.

We went to the City Creek Center and vistied H&M and got some new shirts. Then to IKEA and got Mirah a high chair!

When we got home Karl gave my my anniversary present.
Apparently, the 6th anniversary is the year of Iron and Candy. He gave me a promise of bordeaux from See’s, the the awesome Iron statuette below:

I love my husband. I am so happy he wanted to marry me.
Thanks Karl for an amazing weekend!
