January 22nd, my dear friends Devo’s 28th birthday!
To celebrate Dev and Sam planned an exciting night out for everyone. The night started at a new Provo hot spot, Spark restaurant and lounge.
Karl and I were really excited to go. Spark has been open for a year or so now and we have been meaning to check it out. It is just kind of a singles spot, and we never had a reason to go. Spark is famous for it’s mocktails. That is a non-alcoholic cocktail.
Dev and Sam! I have missed these two, we always have so much fun with them.
Dev and Sam graciously bought the first round of drinks and some delicious rosemary fries.
Karl and I made our first choices:
I had a Bellini, which is white peach puree, and seltzer water. Karl ordered a Mango Mojito, which is mango, mint, lime, seltzer water.
Karl and I were off the diet for the day so we went a little crazy and ordered some sweet appetizers.
Thai Chicken Lettuce Cups and Fried Pork Lollipops. Delicious!

The fired pork lollipops were delicious, they were liked fried pot stickers on a stick.

The Soup of the day: Butternut Squash
After appetizers we head over to one of our favorite Provo restaurants, Guru’s.
We had never been for dinner, and the place was just as fun at night, in fact it might have been way better.
You see, Saturday nights at Guru’s are very special.
They set books of song-lists out, crank up the volume, and it is time for…
KARAOKE!!!
My first number was, Jolene, dedicated to my little brother Brandon.

Another fun thing that happened was that there were two other guys with Karl same sweater!
After we got there more friends arrived! Here is Dev’s friend Emily from work.

She was very impressed.
Near the end of the night, Karl and I got up for a duet of Lisa Lobe’s – Stay.
It was a totally great night!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwe! Sweeeeetie! I'm so glad you guys came to my birthday- it made the night extra fantastic 🙂 AND I have listened to my Josh Groban cd 100 times and I'm IN LOVE with it!
