The blinds were all the way down as we woke up this morning. It was dark and disorienting. We weren’t sure if we were there yet. There are no clocks in the room, AND there are no outlets on the bed side of the wall, so our phones are on the other side of the room charging are no help in orienting us.
We slowly opened them.
The light roused the kids.
Another day, another spectacular view.
Today’s stop:
Puerto Vallarta
Right off of the ship.
We walked around for a little while near the ship. There is a Walmart across from the ship, and we got a bunch of souvenirs. Magnets and Mexican Vanilla.
After that, we went to the beach. It was pretty far from the port, so we piled into a cab. For the first time in their lives, I sat with my kids, no car seats, unbuckled. It was terrifying. We were stopped at a light in the picture below. Otherwise, I was holding them tight.
LUCAS AND MY HAT. I love him.
It took a while to get out there. We drove along the coast. Then through old town. It took a minute, then we some wondering, but we finally made it to the water’s edge.
It was a wonderfully warm day at the beach.
A video our our spot from the shore.
Karl and Mirah having a blast.
Meanwhile Lucas and I played in the sand.
Soon enough Mirah started getting cold, and came back to warm up.
Then back out to the water she went.
Now for a bunch of cute pictures of Lucas playing on the beach, I just couldn’t pick one. He is so sweet and cute, he was just so serious and focused.
Mirah and Karl still out in the water.
Out again. Cold again.
Time to get warm and snuggle together.
Lots of little legs.
Ugh, sand everywhere.
Out in the water trying out our water proof camera.
I was there too!
Everyone was pooped from all the beach time fun. So we packed up our stuff and headed into town to do some shopping and find some food.
