Birthday Kick Off

So Maryn arrived on Thursday night, she wouldn’t be able to be with us for Mirah’s actual birthday because of work, so she came and spent the night and Friday with us.
Mom sent Mirah a package which we opened with Maryn that morning.

We also Skyped mom in for the opening.

I know Mirah looks really serious, but it is more about her not wanting to smile because I asked her to. I am telling you, she was ecstatic!

Birthday Princess, getting started.

Other gifts that arrived.
This yogurt. Also a card with a $5 bill from Grandma and Grandpa Barney. She has been carrying it around. We now keep it in the scriptures as a book mark, and let her hold it while we read every night. 🙂 Thanks Grandma and grandpa!

Grandma Neal sent a package too. It got LOST in the MAIL!!! We are so bummed. We have faith it will somehow find it’s way to us.
Grandma and Grandpa Hite also sent an Amazon gift card that will come in handy too.

What a lucky little girl to have so many people who love her so much!
We love you all so much. Thank you so much for remembering her.

Mirah got a couple of new outfits, this was one of them.

In other amazing news. Maryn got her LICENCE! She is now able to cut hair in UTAH!

Everyone is so proud of her!

More rolling around in the grass.

Then we played on the slide together.

With Maryn’s help, we also got ready for the official day, but making cup cakes together.

I tried to teach Mirah how to crack eggs.

It was only marginally effective.

While washing my hands, Mirah tried to do one on her own. She just basically smashed it onto the table.  So close.

Then we stirred the batter.

We watched Frozen while waiting for them to bake. She loves her dolly. She just held her and held her.
