Breakfast at Manny’s and another Chill Day

Our place over looked Manny’s and the music from the night time disco kept Malia up at night. BUT as we drove out to the city there were signs that said they served a for real FREE breakfast. Which, spoiler alert, was a LIE!!! They did have nutso murals though.

The whole restaurant was on the sand. So we sat on our table on the beach. It was a cool morning, and the kids were chilly.

So Mirah of course immediately spilled hers. Breakfast came of eggs and beans and tortillas.

It was a late breakfast, and we sat and chatted about the chill day we would have.

We drove around town again, and found ourselves an amazing store where we got a bunch of stuff. Like Mexican hoodies for the kids, and a new table cloth for the kitchen. A couple of new blankets and a new Freida bag.

Afterwards we went to lunch at Rey’s Sea food. The kids were happy about their new sweaters, and were feeling sleepy and hungry.

Another tricky thing about Meixco is that you can never leave your car anywhere…with out getting it poorly washed.

After lunch we wanted a treat. So we found this coconut drink stand and got a couple. They were REALLY expensive. Like 9 bucks each.

It was fun just to watch. The kids were being funny.

It was fun to try, but not delicious to eat.

Ugh.

What followed was another chill evening of pool time and video games and puzzles and rest.
