Hooray for Abe!
Happy 203rd!
Between Abe’s birthday being on a Sunday this year, and the fact that for one reason or another, none of us felt up to the task of eating 24 inches of Sensuous Sandwich. Reasons: Allison, pregnant, couldn’t do it in a half an hour. Zac, on a diet of non processed food this year. Krysta, on a serious diet. (YGG!) Karl, didn’t want to feel like he wanted to die from food. Karen, still just barley stands over 24 inches high 😉
So, we deiced to do a Hite family Christmas tradition, Big Sandwiches.

I guess I just realized, this is our last Abe Lincoln birthday celebration with out our own kids.

On the night of the 12th, we chatted with Betsy and Nick, with hopes they will be with us next year!

It was fun chatting to you! Hopefully we'll be there to celebrate next Feb! Even though I will likely be on a serious diet, I plan to take a break to eat 24" of sandwich. Oh yes I will.
