We’re Producers! It’s no big deal…

Howdy, Y’all.

Brother-in-law Nick (husband of Betsy) is filming a really cool looking scifi movie for his masters program.
He and his cute twins are begging funds for set-building and so forth. We paid up and hope he can get all the urine funding that he needs. So read the following note with some cool incentives for contribution:
Dear friends, family and colleagues,

As many of you know, my husband Nick has just started his final year of grad school for film production at San Diego State University. As part of his program he is producing a short thesis film called Space Garden. This is an important project as he will be able to submit the film to film festivals, as well as put it on his professional reel (used for finding work after his graduation in the Spring). Even though he will be shooting this film with school equipment and in the school’s studio there are still a lot of costs involved, which we will be personally responsible for. As we’re not exactly flush with cash right now due to raising twins while financing grad school we’re reaching out to you for help. Nick is using Kickstarter to raise funds for his film. We’re getting closer to the end of the fund raising period, so I thought I would make a plea to you all for any help you can offer. Below you will find a link to Nick’s Kickstarter page:

If you are willing and able we would really appreciate your contribution. Kickstarter allows donations starting at just $1. A donation of $5 or more will get you a special thanks in the film’s credits. There are other rewards for higher contribution levels. However, since I know you personally, I will go so far as to entice you with a special incentive not available to the general public: If you donate $50 or more, and you live within a 50 mile radius of Oceanside, me and the twins will deliver you a delicious plate of homemade cookies! If you live outside of that area you will have to settle for my undying love forever.

If you can’t donate just click on the link to enjoy a video of Nick with our twins (it’s really cute).

Please feel free to forward the Kickstarter link, or post it to your Facebook, Twitter or blog. Any and all exposure is helpful.

I hope all is well with you. Thanks in advance for your help.

Betsy, Nick, Judah & Asher
